The Barron Falls are easily accessible, whilst journeys on both the Kuranda Railway and Skyrail Rainforest Cableway can be taken from Kuranda to Cairns.
The surrounding Atherton Tablelands boasts a number of attractions including wetlands, wineries and coffee plantations.
