Description
Special: Spring special: Stay a little longer and save a lot! Book for four days in September, October or November and get your fifth day free, saving $160.

Imagine picnics on the beach while you watch the sun set over Seal Island and Shag Rock, walking to Penguin Island at low tide, snorkeling in the world famous Shoalwater islands Marine Park or simply lazing around in the spa in your own private courtyard.

This is the layout of the Beach House:

The main courtyard, enclosed by a high brick wall for privacy and pet friendliness, has a wood fired barbeque and features an outdoor setting well placed to catch the cool breezes in summer or the afternoon sun in winter. Perfect for catching up on your tan, socialising or simply relaxing in peace. You could easily store your boat or caravan here.

The master bedroom, opening onto a smaller Mediterranean style courtyard containing the spa, has an ensuite including a bath.

The other bedroom with a queen size bed has a semi ensuite bathroom also has a bath.

One of the single rooms has a double bunk bed, the other has one single bed with the option of setting up the folding bed.

There is a large living area including a compact kitchen, dining table setting and comfy leather lounge suite.

Finally, you will find a more formal lounge room, ideal for simply relaxing or escaping the kid's hijinks!

About the Shoalwater area

The Shoalwater Bay Beach and surrounding areas are perfect for all water sports including swimming, fishing, crabbing, snorkelling, boating, and wind surfing.

You can either walk to Penguin Island at low tide or take the ferry, except during the penguin breeding season.

Peaceful Lake Richmond is just around the corner, with the Naragebup Environment Centre just opposite.

Point Peron offers great walking opportunities, and is a terrifc place for dolphin spotting.

At Old Rockingham Beach you will find a selection of cafes to choose from for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Nearby Safety Bay is a favourite for wind surfers, while the jetty at Palm Beach is popular for fishing and crabbing as the water there is more than 15 metres deep.

Rockingham City Shopping Centre, open seven days a week during the holidays, offers an endless array of popular stores.

Or just around the corner you have the convenience of the Shoalwater Shopping Centre's dozen specialty stores including a supermaket open seven days a week all year round, a fish and chip shop, George and the Dragon Hotel, a bakery, a chemist and a newsagent.

Mandurah, with it's waterfront holiday town feel and Fremantle with it's European style cafe strip are both less than half an hour's drive away.

There are bus services linking Shoalwater with the local area and prviding access to Fremantle and Mandurah. It's fun taking the bus to Freo and then the train on to Perth or beyond.

The HMAS Stirling base on Garden Island is also just minutes away.

Staying at Shoalwater Bay Beach House was great, everything we needed was provided for. All our family (5 adults, 3 babies and two dogs) were able to relax and enjoy our time together, and the adults especially liked the spa.

My family and I shared the Shoalwater Bay Beach House with another family who we were traveling with. We had a wonderful relaxing time and found the house very useable. With 9 of us altogether (more children than adults!) we still fitted comfortably and felt at home. It was also great to have a nice new portacot and highchair to use. A big 'thank-you' to Penny for ensuring that everything ran smoothly for our holiday!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as house provided an excellent base for the area with good cycling and walking areas near the beach. It was also very nice to be able to take our Jack Russell with us

We spent a wonderful 6 days in the house which became a true home for us in the time we were there. The locality of the house is great, close to the beach and all local amenities. Being able to take our 5mth old pup and know she was safely locked away was also a big bonus. We would not hesitate to stay again.

We spent 4 days at the beach house over New Years. We had the most amazing time staying in such a beautiful house which had absolutely everything that you would need. The Spa was nothing less than brilliant. In a nutshell, it won't be long before we go back!
Thanks Penelope

we stayed at the Shoalwater Bay Beach House while our children were sailing, and the highlight of the stay was the lovely warm spa that the children all climbed into each evening and debriefed. Wonderfully comfortable accomodation with lots of amenities.

The Beach House is beautifully situated close to the beach and just seconds away from Penguin Island and the supermarket. The house is well equipped with the necessary facilities and has a large and private garden for quite moments with friends and family. My family of 9 members thoroughly enjoyed staying at the house. The house owner, Penny, has been excellent in helping to make our stay especially memorable by offering the extra miles to help us settle in comfortably. Thanks Penny!!
