The Residence is located south of the Swan River in the Raphael Precinct just a hop, step and jump from the Victoria Park cafe, restaurant and shopping strip and about 2km from the Perth Central business & shopping districts and the Burswood Hotel and Casino complex.

Residents have a wide choice of recreational locations within easy reach including restaurants, shopping and nightlife alternatives offered in Victoria Park, Perth City, Northbridge and South Perth.
Close recreational locations include the Perth City entertainment precincts, the internationally recognised Burswood complex; the WACA Cricket Ground; the Perth Zoo and Kings Park.

Powys, Wales, United Kigndom. This is my fourth visit to Perth when I have stayed in Mark's properties and I have found them both to be excellent. The Raphael Residence is a super place with all that you need to make your stay a great experience. The City Views is also a super place to stay and the views from there are wonderful day and night.
Both are clean and modern with plenty of room for all.
The location is ideal for all that you need from shopping to poping to the city. I would have no hessitation in recommending any residence that Mark has to offer as I have found that all dealings have been a smooth and efficient. I would like to thank Mark & Cathy for making our holidays to Perth a happy and wonderful event, and I will stay there again the next time I am visiting.

Our stay here was very enjoyable. The booking was quick and efficient and although we arrived late we had no trouble getting in and found everything in order. We were travelling with a baby and everything we needed was supplied and the manager was very friendly and quick to respond to all our requirements. The house was pleasant and roomy, linens fresh and daily necessities, soap, coffee, tea etc. provided which was a thoughtful touch. For people who do not know the area there was a file with lots of local information. Althogether a very nice stay.

The house was excellent, firstly for its central location to north and/or south or Perth. It is in a quiet area in walking distance to shops and restaurants. The house itself was comfortable and appealing with all modern appliances. We had a great stay and would definitely return.

We had a wonderful time in Perth making Raphael Residence our base & went sightseeing every day. It is so central to the CBD & other main attractions. We looked forward to going home everyday to relax as if we were in our own home. It is spacious, comfortable & convenient. We recommend the residence to all, & hope to get back for the wildflower season one day.

We have just immigrated from Cape Town, and had a wonderful first 3 weeks in Perth, staying at the Raphael Serviced Federation Residence. The location is incredibly practical for people needing to be centrally situated. Being less than 5 minutes from the river, we often had picnics down by the riverside. The house itself had plenty of space, and the spa bath made kids bathtime a pleasure. We couldn't believe how well equiped the kitchen was. Not your averate holiday house. Highly recommended for families.

We were looking for accommodation to house 6 of us plus have a surprise 80th Birthday Party for my husband's father. The Raphael Federation Residence was just perfect - just what we were looking for. The location, the space to accommodate the family, the room we had inside and out, and the freedom my 2 grandchildren had. It was just like being home.
Mark was so helpful and friendly over the time I got in touch with him, which was last year (2003) and nothing was too much trouble for him.
I would recommend this to anyone who will be going to Perth to stay for a couple of days to a month. It is in the right location, close to the airport, Perth City & Burswood Casino. Victoria Park's main shopping center is not far away, if you need to dash down and get something.
