Even though it is only a short strole to the small cove in which Palm Cove is located, the beach does not become conjested as many other beaches tend to become.
It is the perfect place to unwind though within a minute you can be in the action of Palm Cove.
Palm Cove is only a stones throw from the village of Palm Cove, which is one of the premier beaches of Far North Queensland. It is a quiet suburb though it is close to all Palm Cove amenities; resorts, shops, bars and restaurants as well as golf courses and tour attraction collection points.

In many ways, its the perfect spot for a quiet break or a full on reef and rainforest holiday. Regular buses call in at Palm Cove for trips to all the main destinations, while there are also boats out to the reef leaving from the Palm Cove pier. Alternatively, hire cars are readily available and you can make up your own itinery.
Takeways, convenience shop, post office, chemist, rental cars, bus stop and cycle hire are all available in the village. A hotel with counter lunches and good bottle shop is also located at the end of our street.
You can choose to spend your day exploring the Great Barrier Reef, the Daintree Rainforest, the temperate Atherton Tablelands, Kuranda, or the Cape Tribulation Wilderness.
You may also wish to visit the Tjapukai Aboriginal Theatre, which is half way to Cairns City, or the Tropical Zoo which is literally minutes drive away.
For the evening, Palm Cove has a wealth of restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets.
