Guest Reviews
We recently had a family holiday at Calypso there were 6 of us. The house was very clean, you could not ask for more. It was in a perfect location definatley our favourite part of Perth and yet only a 5 minute drive to the train station where we all went into perth and it only cost $8.60 return for 2 adults, 2 pensioners and 2 students, we could not believe it. The owners were lovely and very helpful. I would not hesitate in recommending this wonderful house to anyone as we all loved it and it was such a great price as well. If we come back to Perth we would definatley be staying here again Thanks Karen & Rod

We had an excellent stay. The suite was clean and extremely comfortable. We loved the view of the ocean and fresh ocean breezes.

The property was easy to find and it was easily accessible to Perth and Freemantle.

The refrigerator was stocked with several items, and all kitchen amenities were available for use. Carol was very helpful and friendly.

We would come back and stay again.

My family and I enjoyed ourselves so much at the Calypso Waterfront residence.
The accommodation was spacious and brilliant in
many ways. It had everything to offer, just great.

It was a pleasure staying there as the ocean views were beautiful and the surrounding area was absolutely clean and scenic.

The location was in a very nice area with fantastic views and easy to get to where ever you wished to travel in and out of Perth.

And what can I say about the hosts !!!
Alan & Joyce are such a nice lovely couple and helpful in many ways. They made our stay so wonderful. We really enjoyed ourselves and it was sad for all of us when we had to say our goodbyes to our hosts.

Thank you for all your help during our stay and especially on our daughter's wedding day.

I highly recommend staying at the Calypso Waterfront.

We all arrived stressed and worn out, having worked right up to the night before our early morning flight - we left, 8 days later, completely chilled and feeling as if we had been there forever.

Beautiful quiet beaches, picnic & barbeque areas minutes away, together with the spacious and immaculately clean property was insurpassable.

It's really a wonderful place to stay. We are allowed to use all the rooms upstairs. It was very spacious, tastefully decorated, practical to use, and spotlessly clean. I especially liked its open-style kicthen and my husband sat too long (!) on the balcony to view the Indian Ocean. Moreover we appreciate Joyce and Alan's warm hospitality. They were always ready to give us a helping hand to make our stay comfortable. Although our main purpose to choose the accommodation was viciny of Joondalup Golf Course, we did enjoy not only golfing on the marvellous course but also generous Australian hospitality.

STOP LOOKING! You found it...the property that is immaculately clean, private, modern, has wonderful views, makes you feel at home and has absolutely brilliant hosts!

Thinking about moving to Perth and just don't know where to stay? Need a home base close to the city but that is also relaxing? Trying to figure out how you are going to make a choice via the internet that provides your family with a great first impression of Perth? Well, we did, we relocated from NSW with our 2 year old son and needed a safe, clean, temporary house that also let us feel that we were at home while we looked for permanent accommodation. We also didn’t know anyone in Perth and thought that it would be a good idea to stay with hosts that may be able answer some of the obvious questions you have when you move to a new city.

Well, from the first phone call we knew we had found the perfect place to stay. Joyce helped ease the stress of moving interstate with her exceptional warmth and friendliness. When we arrived, she was waiting up for us and had thought of all the little touches to make us feel at home after a long journey. We were so pleased to see that the second floor accommodation was perfectly set up for families, with open spaces, reading areas, Foxtel, a fully equipped modern kitchen beautiful, clean bathrooms and large bedrooms with super comfortable beds! – Just like they promised only better!

Equally she was also incredibly discreet and allowed us to feel completely at ease without any sense that we were in someone else’s home. She has this innate ability to allow you to feel relaxed yet able to be there for you if you need her.

Joyce, her husband Allan and their gorgeous dog Rex are wonderful ambassadors for Perth and we count ourselves incredibly lucky to have found them. We love Perth and we know that it is because of their hospitality, we were able to have such a great start here.

I wanted to write something special to all of those people trying to find a place to stay. There are enough things to worry about when you need temporary accommodation for whatever reason- this is a truly exceptional place and we highly recommend that you come and enjoy it as much as we did.

Kind regards,

Asha, Blaz and Luka
