Three uniquely “Freo” dwellings, set amongst air cooling ponds and organic vegetable gardens offer guests the perfect setting for relaxation and contemplation; an oasis within a stone’s throw of the excitement of Fremantle.
Sustainability is a focus at The Painted Fish. Guests will experience developments such as photovoltaics, rain water harvesting, and innovative heating and cooling systems in a series of climatically sensitive, retrofitted dwellings. .
The property is also a living gallery, with many local artists providing soft furnishings, sculpture and paintings.

Accomodation Options
The carriage contains a bedroom and sitting area, kitchenette and Bali style outdoor bathroom. Guests will sleep in a hand forged wrought iron bed made by Tim. The carriage is $110 per night or $660 a week.
The studio, with north facing glass bifolds opening onto the ponds, sits shaded by a ancient Japanese pepper tree. The studio has full kitchen, living and dining areas, with a loft bedroom, and separate stone bathhouse. The studio is $165 per night or $990 per week.
The cottage is the original building on the site and is 110 years old. Lovingly restored, there are three bedrooms with queen size beds, a full kitchen, dining and living rooms. The cottage is $165 per night or $990 per week for a couple. Extra people are $20 per person per night.
