Welcome to Periton Lodge.
Your private oasis is located in a quiet street 300m from Separation Creek Beach and is bordered by established trees hosting koalas & an array of colourful wild birds. Imagine breakfast in the morning sun, overlooking a 180 degree view of the ocean from the large front balcony listening to the crashing waves.
Cocktails in the afternoon sun laying in the hammock or in front of the cosy wood fire on cool nights.
The undercover BBQ area enables outdoor gas cooking & entertaining in all weather. The herb garden offers you super fresh ingredients to add to your cooking.
With 4 bedrooms- 2xbunk rooms and 2 x"triple" rooms-( 1 double & 1 single in each), Periton Lodge can sleep 10 adults
A gentle 1km walk along the beach, road or Paddy's Path to the Hotel, Cafe (in season) and General Store in Wye River.
15 minute drive to Lorne or 20mins to Apollo Bay for shopping & a variety of restaurants.
Periton Lodge is the ideal sanctuary to "get away from it all".

Wildlife often seen at, from or around the house inludes; Gang Gangs, Cockatoos, Crimson Rosellas, King Parrots, Magpies, Currawongs, Rufus Brustlebirds, Fire finches, Bowerbirds, Superb Blue Wrens, Eagles, Hawks, Willy Wagtails, Wattlebirds, Honeyeaters, Echidnas, Koalas, Kangaroos, Orchas, Whales & Dolphins.
From the house you can venture out and visit the 12 Apostles, London Bridge (now fallen), Shipwrecks along the coast, Glow Worms in Wye River & up Grey River Rd, numerous waterfalls, platypus at Lake Elizabeth, the Otway Fly... however the rainforrest at Maits Rest is free and much more enchanting, plus no crowds, you can actually hear the bell birds.
There are dirt bike tracks, a beach launch for small boats at Kennet River. Rockpools to explore. Rock, river, beach and sea fishing; gummy shark, pinkys, snapper, flathead, whiting, trout ... just to name a few.
Surf breaks; we have beach breaks & reef breaks, and when its calm, a great space to surf ski or use a paddle board. The possibilites are only limited by your imagination.

Succulent T-bones from the Apollo Bay Foodworks, Housemade sausages from Birregurra Food Store, Fresh fish, abalone & crayfish from the sea for the price of a fishing licence or Cutlets & Fillets, Oysters, Scallops & Crayfish from Apollo Bay Fish Co-op.
Cheeses from Meredith & King Island atop fresh Sourdough from Irrawarra. Crisp produce from Fruits of Eden in Apollo Bay or Lorne Greens.
Try some of the local drops from Scotchman Hill, Pettavel, Barongavale Winery East, Empress Vineyard,Red Rock Winery, Bellbrae Estate, Blakes Winery Estate, Brown Magpie & Otway Estate where they also produce beer.
