Five charming cabins, fully-self contained, perfect for couples or families on a holiday budget. Nestled just out of the Crater Lakes National Park on 9 acres, this quiet, eco-style holiday park is a haven for nature lovers and birdwatchers.

Cabins 3, 4, 5 - Single room cabins with double bed, single bed and three bunks, fully equipped kitchenette with electric cook-top and microwave, bar-fridge. Sliding door to en-suite bathroom. Table/chairs, TV. fans

Cabin 2 - separate double bedroom, full size stove & refrigerator in kitchen, lovely living room with fold-out sofa, table/chairs, tv, fan, and air-con.

Cabin 1 - largest cabin, separate Queen-size bedroom, single bed and fold-out sofa in living room. Full size stove and refrigerator in kitchen. Table/chairs, tv, larger bathroom and patio. $8 dearer than smaller cabins.

All cabins have balconies and are provided with good quality doonahs, linen and towels. (Pet-friendly balconies!)

Campervans and caravans very welcome (powered site $19 double) - free Camp Kitchen with fireplace, barbecue and gas cooking facilities, also kettle toaster fridge, sink - chop your own wood provided. Very quiet park - no road noise - lots of trees, flowers and birds. Nice duck pond for quiet reflection, two zany ostriches for comic relief, usually baby chickens and Josie.

THINGS TO DO - WALK THE RIM OF AN EXTINCT VOLCANIC CRATER

We are located one klm from the Crater Lake.
Take the Lake Eacham 3klm circuit trail through lush rainforest. Spot the Tree Kangaroo, Musky Rat Kangaroos, and hear the amazing songs of the Tooth-billed Bower Birds. You can walk or drive the one klm to the lake.
Enjoy a swim in the crystal clear water - just 65 metres deep - without fear of crocodiles or stingers. - free lake-side gas barbecues.
Take a boat trip on Tinaroo Dam or Lake Barrine.
Explore the nearby townships of Malanda and Yungaburra, their galleries, restaurants and rainforest walks. Take a nocturnal tour with Alans Wildlife Tours.
Explore the waterfalls - Vision Falls, Malanda Falls, Elinjaah, Zillie, and Millaa Millaa Falls on the 10k falls circuit... and more.
Discover the giant trees - Cathedral Fig, Curtain Fig, Twin Kauri Pines.
Pat wild rock wallabies at Granite Gorge, spot the shy Platypus along the 2klm Petersen Creek walking trail at Yungaburra.
Visit the Mt Hypipasmee National Park to marvel at The Crater and see Dinner Falls.
Search out the Sarus Cranes and Brolgas May to November at Bromfield
Swamp and go birdwatching at Hasties Swamp. Our park is regularly visited by Finches, Mannekins, the Night Heron, Pacific Baza, Channel-billed Cuckoos, Fig Birds, Kookaburras, Cat Birds, Honey-eaters, Emerald Doves and lots of wild Brush Turkeys.

A LARGE SHOP -AND INTERNET CAFE

Your hosts, Lionel & Liz Carroll and their daughter Sandy live on site.

The large Convenience Store is open every day 7am to 7pm. Buzzer on door for late arrivals. Selling groceries, bread, milk, papers, petrol, diesel, elgas, ice-creams, drinks etc. Secret Gift Gallery at the rear of the store.

Garden Terrace Cafe for cooked breakfast, tempting Turkish Toasties, home-made Cheese-cakes and Devonshire Teas, Cappuccinos etc.

Beautiful setting. I cannot speak more highly of the couple running this establishment. I was unfortunate to break my arm whilst bushwalking during our stay, and the care and consideration shown to my family is truly appreciated. We shall go again.
