Imagine this … you wake up in the morning to the sound of singing birds, with the sunlight streaming into your bedroom window. The sky is brilliant blue and the air is clean. Looking out your bedroom window, through the trees you can see the sun glinting on a calm ocean, lapping at a white sandy beach that lies just 50 metres from the back of the house. You can smell the fresh sea air, and perhaps hear the gentle rolling of the waves. You look down and see the secluded path from your backyard leading to the beach just 50 paces away… beckoning; and all at once the frantic pace of your normally hectic and busy life seems like a million miles away…

Beachfront Rest is a haven by the sea, where you can relax and unwind from the everyday stresses of life, and just take things easy for a while.

ACCOMMODATION

Beachfront Rest is a 2 storey house situated on ABSOLUTE BEACHFRONT at the beautiful seaside village of Toogoom. The house can sleep up to 10 people. The home has 5 bedrooms. The master bedroom is upstairs and has a queenside bed and walk-in robe, with it’s own entrance to the upstairs bathroom. There are 3 other bedrooms located upstairs, each with 2 single beds. There is an upstairs bathroom and separate toilet. There is a 5th bedroom downstairs with a queensize bed and wardrobe. Also located downstairs is a second bathroom and toilet. and a laundry with washing machine and dryer. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and all windows are fully screened.
The lower level comprises a spacious lounge room, huge beach-facing sunroom, a study area, a gamesroom area (complete with table-tennis table), and a fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, walloven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher and full set of cookware, pots and pans, dishes and cutlery etc.
The lounge room boasts a 42” flatscreen plasma TV and home theatre DVD/CD system, together with 3 comfortable lounges. The sunroom has a large dining table and separate lounge setting. The backyard has a gas BBQ and a beautiful large outdoor setting (seats 8) with umbrella – perfect for outdoor dining.
All bedlinen and towels are supplied – there is no need to bring your own.

LOCATION

Toogoom is a small quiet seaside village located just 15 minutes north of Hervey Bay. It’s the perfect location for a beachside holiday. Toogoom is blessed with huge streches of beautiful white sandy beachfront. Because it’s protected by Fraser Island, the sea is calm with gentle rolling waves, making it ideal and safe for swimming, playing, boating, fishing, or simply strolling or relaxing on the beach.
Toogoom village has 2 great restaurants (Goodies and Salty Squid) and a general store – all only an easy 5 minutes stroll from Beachfront Rest.
Hervey Bay is only 15 minutes drive away. The population of Hervey Bay is 70,000, and is one of the fastest growing cities in Queensland. Hervey Bay offers a wide range of tourist attractions and activities, including world famous whale watching cruises, day trips to the World Heritage listed Fraser Island (the world’s largest sand island – a must see!), great restaurants, shopping centres, hotels and clubs…and heaps more! Just some of the additional things to see and do in and around the area are helicopter flights, golf, giant waterslide, go-karting, Reefworld marine centre, Vic Hislop shark show, aquatic centre, skatebowl, air charter and joy flights, tenpin bowling, diving, water skiing, coral viewing trips, sailing, windsurfing, parasailing, jet ski hire, canoeing, horse riding, cinemas, amusement centres, fishing and fishing trips, bowls, art galleries, markets, botanical gardens, plus visiting fairs, circuses and rodeos in holiday season.
