Beach Bungalow

Located on the stunning Surf Coast in old Torquay, and only a few minutes’ walk from the beach, The Beach Bungalow is comfortably and tastefully renovated to retain the beach house feel of yesterday. It features wide verandahs, a large sunny, secure back yard, and a pretty garden with shady spaces.

The Bungalow is clean and welcoming. It has three bedrooms, new kitchen and water-wise bathroom, large, comfortable, light-filled living/dining area, and inviting, outdoor verandah living spaces.

‘The Beach Bungalow’ is the ideal place for a short break from city stresses at all times of the year. Every season at the coast has its charms, and ‘The Beach Bungalow’ accommodates all options – quiet, safe, cool in summer, sunny and cosy in winter.

Treat yourself to a short stay and enjoy relaxing in the warm sun on the back verandah; an energizing beach walk or other beach activities, or simply kick back and enjoy some indoor time with TV, DVD’s, books, music, games, hobbies or conversation.

The village of ‘old Torquay’ is right in the heart of this popular coastal town. It feels a million miles from Melbourne but is just over an hour’s drive from the city, and the quietness and instant change of pace are sure to lure you back for more ‘restoration’ time in such easy commuting distance.

Quality restaurants and other food outlets are within walking distance, as are surf shops, outlet shops, supermarkets, library, visitors’ centre, the main CBD shopping strip, and of course the beautiful beaches. Several of them.

‘The Beach Bungalow’ is pet friendly for responsible owners and the secure back yard gives your pet plenty of freedom. A pet-friendly beach is nearby.

Other features include air conditioner and fans, comfortable beds (queen, double, two single and a cot); fresh, line-dried linen and towels (with the sunshine folded in!), microwave, conventional electric oven and stove top, refrigerator, washing machine, and ample off-street parking.
