Completed in 1880 The Grand Pacific was the first coastal hotel built in Victoria and was renowned for its stunning ocean views and unique location. Today, after years of painstaking work, the multimillion dollar restoration has turned The Grand Pacific into the icon it once was.

I took a 2-day escape from Melbourne before Christmas 2007. I work in real estate and my mother was recovering from an operation
The Grand Pacific was the perfect solution for both our needs. Perched on a point close to the pier and just a little further along from the buzz of 'downtown' Lorne, it provided a relaxing getaway with easy access to the beach and local amenities
The staff at the Grand Pacific are friendly and helpful and the rooms welcoming
Most importantly are the beds. Gorgeously comfortable

The wedding we attended (and the reason for our stay) was nicely catered for, - breakfast next morning was well prepared and served - although we only found out by chance that we could have breakfast in your hotel, as there was no mention in our room brochure! or anywhere else!
