We enjoyed the miles of uninterrupted fine sandy beaches with pastel sunsets. Close to Freycinet National Park and the Coast Bird Life and Animal Park, Bicheno makes for a convenient base for your stay on Tassie\'s East coast.

Bicheno is the closest town to Coles Bay. Place where all the fun is. Visit the Oyster farm which is half way from Bicheno to Coles Bay. Enjoy a walk in Freycinet National Park, go see kayaking or 4WD motorbike riding. Go to the Friendly Beaches to see the whitest sand ever...

Had a great overnight stay in Bicheno. Went on a fairy penguin tour (awesome), had a great meal with local cheese and wine, stayed in a great motel (location, not quality). Loved it, 11 out of 10.
