Cessnock is right before Hunter Valley. The city is well known for the sky diving in the area and it is close to the vineyards. Lots of wine tasting

Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley, WOW!. Opened in September, the earthy tones, of the modern atmosphere, is a great feel and look. The Staff were Real. People who were friendly, down to earth, and willing to give time, to make my stay happy. Dining in, the in house restraunt, Redsalt, was amazing... I was able to watch every step of my meal being cooked, and could ask questions to the chefs,who were more that happy, to share there knowledge. Wagyu cooked to perfection, and the selection,& variety, caters for all, & not breaking the budet. A great veiw over valley from the second floor really sets the mood. MASSIVE inground pool, golf course, tennis courts,& gym, all avaliable for my lesiure. My stay was DELIGHTFUL.

Main town in the Hunter region. Only base yourself here if you need facilities as it\'s not as pretty as some of the other accommodation in the region.

Lots of places to skydive. I have never done it just watched but it looks pretty cool. Thinking about giving a goal next time I am up in that area
