My Partner and i often take the Family to Sydney for Special Occasions. My absolute favourite place to stay is in Darling Harbour. From here there is so much to see and do, I really enjoy the Imax Theatre and the many Restaurants available. Not to mension the shopping.

Darling Harbour has become the tourist hub of Sydney. It was one of the first settled places in Sydney and has the rocks area nearby. Great for eating entertaining and a general excitement, there is always something going on.

I absolutely love Darling Harbour. You can find some of the best restaurants and bars in that area. I work right behind there and love walking around the area on my lunch break

Overated in my opinion. Comedy Dinner Cruise that departs there each night was the highlight of our visit there. Sydney has so much to offer, and I think Darling Harbour just isn\'t utilised as best it could be. Lovely park area, but this is Sydney Harbour, there\'s the rest of the country for park area.

The best place to go in Sydney. I come to Darling Harbour every month just to hang out with my family. Whether it be day or night, there is always something to do here. The Chinese Gardens are beautiful, the shopping is a wonderful experience and there are many eateries to choose from. At night there are plenty of bars and nightclubs if you want to go and let your hair down. There is always some kind of event happening around the harbour and everything is within walking distance, even public transport. Paddy\'s markets is a great bargain hunting place as well as Chinatown. There are plenty of places to stay in and around Darling Harbour as well and Star City Casino is just around the corner if you want to have a flutter.

This is on the tourist map of things to do in Sydney. There is a family feel with a kids play area with a cafe for mums and dads. The entertainment centre hosts some good events, there are some reasonable restaurants but I worry that they only survive on the tourist dollar. The Imax cinema is also located here if you like that kind of thing. Good market on bridge on first saturday of the month.

This is a hub for city dwellers and visitors alike and although the restaurants can be a bit pricey, the views and buzz are worth it.

A great base for anyone staying in Sydney who likes to be seen. A must see. Easy access to the city or surrounding harbour sites. Great restaurants/night life and home to museums, shops and casino. Try and coincide with start of Sydney Hobart sailing race on Boxing Day.

Working in Darling Habour you get to see it all, from street performers and outdoor concerts. Something is always happening. Good food and bars create an atmosphere for all ages. There is also good transport to get there from all parts. Take a ferry for a water view of the city

I came to the opening which was obviously an exciting and fun time. The site has been modernised and there is always something fun on - concerts and festivals which are quite often free.

The best part of Darling Harbour is the part that not many know is there. The Chinese Gardens are magnificent and beautiful. They rent costumes out by the hour and visitors young and old get to run around the joint acting like exotic princesses and fierce samurai warriors. Who wouldn\'t love this place? A complete riot.

Darling Harbour is a tourist hub for Sydney - great restaurants overlooking the beautiful Sydney Harbour. Great bars and okay shops also surround Darling Harbour. there is an IMAX and some childrens play grounds and amphitheatre, which make for a good family day out.
