Brunswick Street- the heart and soul of Fitzroy- is an exciting place to visit. Lots of funky bars, ethnic restaurants, groovy people and hot music. Stroll up and down, catch a coffee and dinner and be prepared for the unexpected. You\'ll love it.

Fitzroy is an inner city suburb of Melbourne vibrant for its cafes pubs and multiculturism, music and theatre. It is steeped in history from the heady days of the early 1900s and has retained a lot of its architectural flavour.

Grungy part of Melbourne. Close to the city and Melbournes Uni\'s. Young people love it here. Lots of bars and cool restaurants

Great trendy shopping strip. A stones throw to the city. Some good restaurants and a small selection of accomodation. Make sure you stroll down the famous Brunswick Street.

I love walking through the gardens, all year round there are different activities - dance lessons and music under the stars.

Great boutique jewelery shops, also a must to wander Brunswick Street, especially during Fringe Festival!

Fitzroy is just minutes away from Melbourne\'s CBD. Next to Carlton. There are some really good pubs in the area.

Don\'t miss Brunswick Street. it is one creature of fascination by day and another by night. By day, poke around in shops bursting with interesing products from hats with stripes and dots to a garden centre with many plant types and pots. At night pick a restaurant or bar, there is a venue to fit anyone

Fitzroy is home to the alive and kicking Brunswick St. If you want to get away from the monotonous chain store clothing places - come here!

There nothing quite like the ambience and atmosphere of Fitzroy. I love it. It\'s trendy, can be shocking, has the best galleries, cafes and pubs. It is a 5 minute walk to the city. A great place to visit. No visit to Melbourne would be complete without visiting Brunswick St, Fitzroy.

Undoubtedly the coolest area of Melbourne, it\'s a rockstar/scenster/artist\'s mecca. Fantastic live music venues and great pubs and bars. Some great boutiques, just an all around excellent place to hang out.

Fitzroy is to Melbourne as Surry Hills is to Sydney. It\'s the closest, coolest shopping and nighlife hub next to Melbourne City. It has loads of bars and live music, but not as much as it used to. It\'s a little alternative, but decreasingly so. Worth a look - day and night!
