Reviews of Halls Gap
Rating: 4 out of 5
Dom - April 2006
Scenic gateway to the grampians. Stayed at a great resort style complex, D\'Altons with all the mod cons you need for a family holiday. Always great wildlife for the kids to see.

Kevin - June 2007
Perfect place to make your base on a trip to the Grampians. Must-see spots are the Boroka Lookout and McKenzee Falls. Book a rock-climbing expedition in advance to avoid disappointment.

Halls Gap is the town most central to base yourself at for seeing the grampions. Also visit Dunkeld and have lunch at the Royal Mail Hotel -- it is YUM!

At the base of the Grampians National Park it is a great base to explore from. Lots of great walks close by. Worth a visit when exploring Victoria.

Trevor - April 2004
Lots of bushwalking, camping, rock climbing in the National Park combined with Brambuk Aboriginal Cultural centre and the Spring wildflowers make Hall\'s Gap an ideal place to get away from the madding crowds. Lake Bellfield is good for fishing and boating and swimming in the hot weather.

The Grampians has many easy ( and some hard) bushwalking tracks leading to spectacular views and many native flora, as well as an interesting Aboriginal Museum to give added perspective to the area.

Lovely place to visit the Grampians. A place to wander or just sit and take in the scenery

DAWN - November 2006
Lots of accomm in this quiet town. Great spot to view the wonderful scenery of the Grampians and the wildlife abounds. Access to some of the lookouts is easy - not a lot of walking involved. Some areas still closed due to fire damage. Devastated by fires in January, the area is now rejuvenating and the grass trees are apparently the best they have been for years - great to see. A visit to the aboriginal centre was worthwhile
