Port Fairy is a nice place to visit after you take the drive down the Great Ocean Road. It was quite cold down here in the Winter time. Quite a few little motels and caravan parks to stay at. Great locals and great takeaway shops.

Griffith Island mutton bird rookeries, the large fishing fleet port, the old stone cottages and the Folk Festival make for a memorable stay in this charming old world fishing village.

Port Fairy is usually beyond the end of the Great Ocean Road so if you\'re exhausted from driving and don\'t feel you\'re not up to making it back to Melbourne, Port Fairy is a nice play to stay overnight.

One of Victoria\'s oldest ports, it\'s as pretty as a postcard. Wander it\'s historic streets and around the harbour on the Moyne River.

Port Fairy is a quaint seaside town in western Victoria. It is probably most well known for its annual Folk festival. I love the Port Fairy Folk Festival. Take the weekend off, listen to great music, blues, folk and enjoy the atmosphere. The festival happens in March of each year.

Everytime we are in Western Victoria, Port Fairy is a must stop. The town is beautiful and the food excellent. the surrounding countryside is pretty, especially on the coast.

we go there religously every year to see the mutton birds. It is a must see experience. The birds fly from antarctica all the way to nest and have babies every year and the whole island is swormed with them. Fishing is also a must when in port fairy. We caught lots of flat head but all too little and had to throw them back in.
