Hip, Trendy, Young, Urban, and Rich - don\'t get caught walking down Chapel St with just a t-shirt and shorts.

Oh migod! If you love shopping you\'ll love it here. Of course great coffee is a plenty and lovely restaurants. Amici is the best cafe for breakfast ever!

My cousins live in South Yarra and my Mum works here too. To be honest they all complain all the time about the traffic and noise. Everyone seems to want to visit here because it is so fashionable etc.. but it is not that great!. Yes, Chapel St is exceptionally trendy and you will see p platers cruising down there with there stereos pumping. but if you want good shops go to Chadstone. If you want good restaurants - try Malvern, South Melbourne or Brighton.

A great upmarket ($) base for anyone staying in Melbourne- easy access to the city and a stones throw to the famous Botanicla Gardens and Toorak Rd/Chapel St shops. Great restaurants & night life.

Great location. A bit expensive, but if you can afford it it is a good area for living. CBD, cafe shops, restaurants everything is just minutes away.

Wonderfully trendy suburb of Melbourne. The shopping is great, the food is even better and you are only 10 minutes to Melbourne CBD. You are also very close to Chapel St that is renown for its fantastic shopping.

A fantastically trendy area, South Yarra revolves arond Chapel Street, Melbourne\'s trendiest shopping district. Many great cafes and restaurants, Cafe e Cucina is a Melbourne Institution, but for the best thin crust pizza try Pizza Piazza. The famous Duk of Windsor has now become the Lucky Coq and has an exellent atmosphere for an after work tipple or some late night drinking.
